We took a day off this last week and headed to one of our favorite spots; Hamlin Lake in Ludington, MI. We come here each summer, but wanted to make a quick visit when the leaves were in their prettiest fall colors. We certainly were not disappointed! We were lucky that my sister and her family came, too. It was their Fall Break week, so it worked out perfect!
Making yummy brownies with Katie.
Lunch at Chef John's!
The view of Clark's Castle Point from across the water...so beautiful!
Everyone had a thumbs up the first night...so excited!
Playground playtime one morning.
My caramel apple buddies!
I'm not sure if they knew the rules, but they sure had fun playing the game!
Nothing like grilled cheese and tomato soul on a cold, fall night.
No trip is complete without Sandcastles Children's Museum ( and of course, House of Flavors for ice cream)!
We had a great time and can't wait to visit again in July! See you again soon, Ludington!!!
