Merry Christmas from Baby Rose

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, I was lucky to get the opportunity to take photos of this cutie pie! To say that Baby Rose has stolen our hearts, is an understatement!  She is just perfect (like all of my nieces and nephews), and after a couple of years with no little babies in the family, it's been so much fun watching her grow!  Here are just a few pictures of her Christmas holiday shoot!

Christmas Card Photos

This year, for our Christmas card, I had been toying around with the idea of having the boys wear winter coats and hats, and take this really neat winter photo outside.  I figured I'd spent the last 3 years trying to coordinate outfits and I was kind of over it.  The boys had the same coats, just in different colors, and I thought it would be easy to find coordinating hats (that was a little more challenging than I thought, but I did it)!  The problem was the fun, winter scene that I was trying to get.  Who would have thought that on the 15th of November, it would be a balmy 70 degrees in Indiana!?!?!?  Seriously...this weather has been crazy!  Thankfully, I have Photoshop and YouTube, lol!  After about three hours on the computer, I finally figured out how to create a winter scene!  Hopefully it's not too noticeable...

Happy Halloween

We did something different this year for Halloween...we loaded up the boys and went camping with my parents, their friends, and my sister and her family.  We carved pumpkins, had a campfire, rode bikes, went for walks, and the kids played for hours on end.  It was such a fun weekend, and to top it off, I think the boys came home with enough candy to last three years!

We got back home on Sunday night, headed to school the next day, and then we were back out in full Halloween gear for a few stops around the neighborhood with our friends!  Of course, I had my camera out at the first place and then didn't get it back out again, lol!
