Play-date with Ian

We FINALLY made a visit over to see our good friends Angela and her son Ian. Angela has been our friend for several years, and holds a very special place in our heart...she helped set up Andy and I (and she knew from the first time she met each of us that we would be a great match)! Well, she was right, and five years later, we're still thanking her!!!

Ben and Ian had a great time playing. As you can see from this picture, Ben loved Ian's wheelchair. He thought it was his own personal jungle-gym. Ian was very gracious to let Ben climb all over it (Ben even figured out how to release the brake)!

We knew that Ian LOVES all kinds of trucks, so we had to add a monster truck to his collection. Needless to say, it was a big hit (with Ian and Ben)! Andy of course, made sure it came with a mute button (for Angela and Tom's sanity) :)

We had a great visit, but after a couple hours of playing, Ben started to let us know it was time to go (a.k.a. whining). So, off to the car we went, and as you can see from this picture, not a moment too soon. I think he was asleep before we were even out of their driveway! What a great day!!!
